As a member of the Health Data Integrity team I had the pleasure of empowering our patient members by making it easier for them to share their health experiences in the words and terms that resonated with them while simultaneously working to standardize, aggregate, and incorporate that data into our research. I helped maintain the PatientsLikeMe medical information database of disease states, symptoms, treatments, and labs while ensuring proper integration with external medical vocabularies such as MedDRA, SNOMED, RxTerms, and ICD-10. I helped design and evaluate tools aimed at increasing patient engagement and empowerment and supported various clinical and research initiatives across the company.

While working as a clinical consultant pharmacist, I had the opportunity to design, develop, conduct, and report the findings of health outcomes and pharmacoeconomic studies in collaboration with Clinical Pharmacy Services' clients and clinical pharmacy staff. Additionally, I created and maintained a customized database designed for tracking developments within the pharmaceutical industry's product pipeline. I also had the unique pleasure of serving as the editor-in-chief of an annual newsletter designed to maintain client and staff awareness of pharmaceutical pipeline news and updates. Lastly, I was able to further my skills as a preceptor by assisting in the design of a post-graduate training program and preparation for program accreditation, precepting sixth year pharmacy students as well as pharmacy residents, and advising pharmacy practice residents throughout the completion of longitudinal research projects.
