Sharing the joy of learning through reading. Each month, due to the generous donations of gently used and new books, I distribute over 3K books per month stocking Little Free Libraries and SHELFIES! across upstate NY and northern Vermont. In addition to providing story time activities and encouraging reading at the family level, I am pleased to be available at the Potsdam Public Library to assist with ongoing renovations and programs.

LIFE offers one on one tutoring in all subject areas, to learners age 14 and up. Through the Potsdam Public Library, St. Lawrence County learners can obtain tutoring services to improve their reading/writing/math and English skills. Adult Education instructor and Job Readiness Training Workshop presenter

Supervise daily activities of assigned staff; plan/prioritize/assign tasks and projects; train/coach volunteer staff; monitors work, develop staff skills/evaluate performance/monitor and assure the quality of services provided.• Organize/supervise/implements literacy programs; assess adult population literacy needs, and prioritize programs to be developed and implemented.• Conduct community outreach programs, including presentations to community groups and local colleges to promote the literacy program/events; plan/manage/develop and organize special outreachand promotional programs. Literacy of Northern NY helps adults read,write, communicate and understand English to enable them to succeed in the workplace, in school, and in the community by providing 1-1 tutors in Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL), which are supported 100% by trained volunteers.
