Joining TE Connectivity in December 2014 as the Vice President of Channel Marketing, Maria Cannon leads a diverse global organization that represents the Distributor perspective across TE. Maria’s group is chartered with managing the strategies and programs that develop and enable TE Distributors. Through innovative practices aligned to foster enhanced engagement, education and growth, Maria and her team optimize success for the world’s best partnerships and place priority on growth, through marketing and extraordinary customer experience.

San Jose

Directs global partner enablement programs to improve partner profitability, satisfaction and Ease of Doing Business (EODB) as well as raise engagement, education, and readiness. Leads development of practice and technology solutions to provide centralized resource for all partners on Cisco products. Serves on companywide Quality Experience Steering Council and as Executive Sponsor for global Partner Operations Advisory Board. Established a Compliance Office and led Brand Protection team.

San Jose Based

Managed initiatives for supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, GTM, and distributor growth and profitability. Created entirely new supply chain approach that leveraged distributor network, optimizing inventory and working capital for distributors.

San Jose

Led sales, marketing, systems engineering, services, channels, and advanced technology groups. Navigated difficult economic tide to maximize revenue. Launched recognition program to drive quarterly GTM goals and engaged executives at key customer organizations to align and leverage all resources.

San Francisco Bay Area

Achieved revenue growth targets by driving collaboration across leadership team. Increased productivity and customer experience as well as systems engineering group’s talent development and morale with new talent review process and compensation structure, adopted worldwide.

Austin, Texas Area

Developed the sales strategy for a complex enterprise class product and grew enterprise business over a 5-year period. Served on the executive Corporate Business Group and on America’s Diversity Council. Initially brought on following acquisition of ConvergeNet Technology (part of executive team at ConvergeNet as VP of Sales).

Cupertino, Ca

Launched new division to develop and market Intel-based servers to global enterprise customers. Managed P&L and operating expenses. Proposed strategic solution partnership to executive team and secured multimillion-dollar investment. Led product innovation and marketing through ISVs, system integrators, OEMs, and resellers.
