Thanks for taking the time to meet me! My name is Maria Croft and I’m a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. I grew up in the Knightsville section of Cranston, graduating from Cranston West and the Cranston Area Vocational & Technical Center in 1983. After a few years of work and travel, I decided to head back to school, graduating from CCRI in 1991 and then studying Culinary Arts at Johnston & Wales University in Providence.For over 20 years, I worked in the culinary field as a caterer, personal chef, baker, and instructor. Things came full circle when I was hired at the Cranston Area Career & Tech Center, instructing in the same high school that I attended! I’ve worked with various after-school and summer programs and developed healthy and fun curriculum for primary and secondary level students.After my sons graduated from high school, I was ready for a career change. With encouragement from my family, I went to real estate school in the evenings, earned my license, and became a Realtor. I’m pretty much obsessed with all things culinary, as you may see by my never-ending food posts on Facebook. I’m the proud mom of two young men and caretaker of two rescue cats, Lola and Spartacus.Experienced as both a Seller’s Agent and Buyer's Representative, I believe real estate revolves around knowledge and the client-agent relationship, resulting in honest conversations and smoother transactions.
