- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments based on availability, urgency, and provider schedules.- Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed, ensuring minimal disruptions.- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointment times, locations, and preparations.- Provide patients with instructions for procedures, pre-appointment requirements, or follow-ups.- Check patients’ insurance coverage and confirm eligibility for services.- Update patient profiles with current contact information, medical histories, and appointment details.- Ensure that all scheduling information is accurately documented in the system.
