I am a dedicated professional currently serving as a surgical assistant at a Mohs surgery clinic, where I actively support medical providers in performing a wide range of procedures including the Mohs procedure, biopsies, excisions, and reconstruction. My role also involves comprehensive patient care, meticulous documentation, and ensuring strict sterilization protocols. Through this experience, I have honed invaluable skills in managing diverse patient needs within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.In parallel with my clinical role, I obtained my Master of Public Health degree at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, specializing in Leadership in Practice in May of 2024. This educational journey aligns with my aspiration to integrate my medical expertise with a deep understanding of public health principles. My ultimate goal is to leverage this dual perspective to address the social determinants of health that disproportionately affect marginalized communities.
