Established commercial and residential architecture firm specializing in sustainable building standards and wellness-centered interior design, furnishings and construction; manage operations, finance, staff, new business development and client relationships.• Advise clients on structural and interior design strategies to meet LEED and WELL building standards and aesthetic goals; produce comprehensive design packages including mechanical systems, natural materials and renewable energy solutions. • Lead project life cycles, overseeing key milestones, timelines and budgets to attain project goals; recruit and develop specialized architectural teams for each project.• Founded wellness center and design multi-disciplined retreats to promote healthy living through education, fitness and nutrition; oversee renovation of 18th century villa to house programs and select nutrition and yoga experts to provide transformative holistic experiences. Selected ProjectsRetail: Directed design and creation of flagship stores for Theory, Escada and Ankasa; oversaw national rollout of retail spaces to ensure design integrity.Mixed Use: Collaborated with Elie Tahari on the creation of Zao retail and art gallery space to promote new local fashion designers and artists.Domestic: Managed gut renovations of multiple urban residences and consulted with clients on healthful interior materials and custom furnishing designs.

• Designed core curriculum for the bachelor’s degree program in architecture (with Columbia College); monitored/evaluated student progress in lecture and studio courses across topics including theory, history, 20th century modernism and visual culture.• Created summer program on Urban Ecology and Sustainable Architecture to complement core curriculum and introduce ecological theories, technologies and best practices into curriculum to meet students’ needs.• Collaborated with faculty and deans of undergraduate and graduate programs to formulate and coordinate curricula between departments; participated in students’ formal reviews in other classes and universities (Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design).

• Enhanced undergraduate architecture curriculum by integrating sustainability theory and practices in architecture and interior design courses; created and led 20th Century Interior Design History, Theory and Sustainability course. • Instructed studio and theory classes and evaluated student progress in the bachelor of fine arts degree program and the Parsons Paris Summer Intensive.
