I grew up with an AOL Instant Messenger screen name (and with that also came dial-up) and Xanga, MySpace, and the list goes on. People stayed connected with these platforms. They shared ideas, opinions, photos, and life updates. Fast forward nearly 15 years, and you’ll find TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and so many more are among nearly everyone’s mobile devices. And still, people are listening, engaging, and building relationships with people and companies. These platforms are constantly changing and growing, and brands must keep up the fast pace. As a marketing manager for a local recruiting company, I love to research trends and test unique social media messaging. What do consumers on this platform want to see? When do they want to see it? How do they want to engage with our brand? How can I optimize and scale the content I’m sharing for future growth? These are all questions I ask myself when strategizing content.Previously, I was part of a healthcare marketing team where I helped drive patient volume through omnichannel marketing strategies for system service lines. Most notably, I oversaw and executed marketing efforts for the Outreach services department. A department that extends its reach into the community and helps provide free health services to those in need, ranging from expect mother classes and crime and trauma counseling to healthy cooking classes and street medicine clinics. Among these events included a Sunny 95 sponsorship that consisted of 12 summer block parties in affluent neighborhoods across central Ohio.- Supported the launch and ongoing maintenance of the health system’s online Brand Store. Tasks included approving artwork proofs to maintain brand guidelines; submitting requisitions in Lawson Supplier Portal; fielding colleague order questions; updating and promoting Brand Store materials on the Mount Carmel Intranet. The Brand Store provides colleagues the opportunity to purchase their own logo'd apparel and giveaways for their department events and initiatives.- Served as marketing representative and chairperson on the Mount Carmel Foundation Steering Committee for their annual fundraising gala, Champagne & Diamonds.
