I am a graduate student at Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science. In May of 2024, I earned my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Princeton University. My research background is in visual neuroscience, primarily focusing on eye-tracking and fMRI studies of the brain's visual word form area (VWFA). At Princeton, my research studied the impact of bidirectional Arabic-English reading ability on the brain's vision and attention networks. I am currently continuing this research at the Barnard Vision Lab.My interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and technology and the ethical and legal implications of these fields, particularly regarding the right to mental privacy.
