I served as the Student Service Coordinator at PUC Excel Charter Academy. PUC Schools is a Charter Organization serving the communities in the San Fernando Valley and North East LA areas. Being the primary advocate for the students, I wore many hats and quickly grew as a professional during this time. I exposed myself to the communities with the sole purpose of creating opportunities for involvement and continued eduction for the students. It was crucial for me to continuously plan and brainstorm strategies for student supervision, growth, and educational success. Another one of my greatest responsibilities was to increase student and community involvement and participation. This was achieved by planning and organizing fundraisers, events, and collaborating with personnel from the organization. I was also an administrative assistant collaborating closely with the Principal and office manager.
