As a Prestige Beauty Advisor, I am happy to implement Ulta’s core values across store 395. Through my internship at INtegRIty Counseling, we collaborated with the local Boys and Girls Club to incorporate mental health practitioners at the organization. Co-led a team of six undergraduate students in conducting and creating a research poster under the guidance of Dr. Susan Sprecher to present at the Illinois State Symposium 2023. Our research focused on the levels of self-disclosure across varying getting-acquainted interactions as a function of attachment style and gender. We used preliminary data from Dr. Sprecher’s previous social interaction studies and data collected in our labs. I was responsible for organizing experiment lab sessions by contacting participants and updating our Microsoft Excel sheet weekly. I became familiar with the IBM SPSS Statistics systems through the help of my team and collaborating graduate students. This experience has introduced me to the beginning of my leadership aspirations and career goals.
