Vision Australia, a not-for-profit organization, is a leading provider in blindness and low vision services in Australia. With a client number of 33,000, Vision Australia exists to support people with blindness or vision loss live the life they choose.This role includes providing unique support based on life experience, to people who are blind or have low vision in assisting them to deal with vision loss and issues that they may be facing. Responsibilities include: One on one phone support - Support to clients over the phone which is provided one on one between the Peer and the client to listen and support the client through issues they are facing due to vision loss based on knowledge and life experience of the peer. Facilitation of Quality Living Groups - This is a group of 6 clients that is run over the phone to allow people with vision loss to support each other and provide ideas on how to deal with vision loss. Responsibilities of the Peer is to facilitate this group every week for 8 weeks leading and providing with personal experience and insight. Face to face support - Responsibilities include supporting clients who attend the Vision Australia clinic for the first time and also by speaking and presenting to groups of people/clients.

Playland Before and After School Care is a centre that cares for children between the ages of 5 and 11 before and after school hours.Responsibilities include supervising and caring for children, organizing morning and afternoon activities, assisting children with homework and liaising with parents.
