The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UK-based charity that provides outreach and educational programmes to make computing relevant and accessible to all. It supports networks of volunteer-led events that provide opportunities for people to get involved in digital making. I provided leadership to a global team delivering non-formal computing education programmes in schools and community settings, through communities of volunteers and working in partnership with values-aligned organisations. After two and a half years leading Code Club's national operations, the scope of my role expanded to include activities outside the UK. I led the team that established partnerships with tens of like minded non-profits that supported Code Club's growth. After four years leading Code Club UK and international teams the total number of clubs increased from 2,500 to over 10,000 globally, reaching around 150,000 9- to 13-year-olds worldwide.

Eastside Primetimers is a social enterprise that helps to build capacity in organisations with a social purpose, delivering practical and innovative support. I worked with key stakeholders to designed a pilot service delivery plan to increase the reach of advice services to clients with severe disabilities across London. The process included researching current reach and service models, stakeholder interviews, leading collaborative workshop and writing final report.

Toynbee Hall is a charity with a £6.6M turnover. It delivers services to over 12,000 users per year the local community with the aim of eradicating all forms of poverty. I led 5 teams of staff and volunteers to improve and maintain high performance service delivery while leading to completion a complex change management process. I was accountable for a £4 million budget of largely restricted income and responsible for service commentaries on financial reports, controlling and reporting on variances to the Trustees.

Artis Education is a social business with a turnover of £1.8M. I led a team who coordinated 100 free lance facilitators delivering creative education programmes in over 150 primary schools across England, reaching 40,000 children every week. In addition to leading on operational innovation strategies, my focus was to increase the retention of schools, by establishing and maintaining excellent relationship with Headteachers that contracted the work.
