PhD student at the Dept. of Organismal Biology, Environmental Toxicology, EBC, Uppsala University.Defended my thesis "Cellular transport and secretion of the cyanobacterial neurotoxin BMAA into milk and egg" in December 2015.My studies focused on the transport of the neurotoxic amino acid BMAA, released from Cyanobacteria, into breast milk and egg. I used in vitro transport experiments for predicting human exposure and scintillation, autoradiographic and phosphoimaging for the metabolic in vivo studies.2009-2011 Worked in a project concerning the transport of MeSO2-DDE, a metabolite of DDT. The project transcended towards big animals and Norway which resulted in me changing projects.

Measurements of autoantibodies (ELISA) in serum from rheumatoid arthritis patients. I was also responsible for separating PBMC’s from the blood of test subjects in a GSK clinical trial study, GCP standard.
