Energetic and passionate entrepreneur, professional speaker, marketer, coach and educator. After spending 15 years teaching in an elementary setting, my entrepreneurial spirit was larger than the classroom. I have business management experiences from working with tourism companies and then expanded my sights to owning my own bakery. In 2011, I opened Nothing Bundt Cakes with my business partners, my second location was opened in 2014. Nothing Bundt Cakes grew to a highly successful business with 70 employees due to my vision and dedication to the brand. I believe that my interpersonal skills and employee training have been instrumental in shaping my team around me. My passion and drive led to the increased growth in sales each year even during the challenges faced with the Pandemic. In addition to running two successful businesses, I have been highlighted and recognized multiple times in and around Oklahoma for successes and entrepreneurial skills. In order to pursue my passion of coaching and teaching, I decided to take my dream to another level. Selling my ownership in Nothing Bundt Cakes has allowed me to bring knowledge and energy to others. I have recently co-authored 2 wonderful children's books titled The Festival of the Pines and The Wishing Bridge, both set in National Parks. I also serve as principal consultant and owner of Dare to Develop Industries, speaking on numerous topics to include entrepreneurship, leadership, lifetime learning, employee engagement and organizational culture.
