I am responsible for developing and implementing a resource mobilisation strategy to secure funding from individuals, corporate partners, philanthropic organisations, and public sector entities. To sustain and expand our conservation efforts, I engage with key donors. I also initiate collaborations with global organisations like FAO, WFP, and IUCN to diversify funding sources. These efforts are projected to secure over $40 million in funding over the next three years.In my role, I lead and manage cross-functional teams across nine African countries, ensuring operations align with WWF's strategic objectives. Recognising the importance of effective outreach and advocacy, I revitalise our communications strategy to enhance donor engagement and raise public awareness. This has led to increased donor involvement, contributing to the sustained success of our conservation initiatives.To ensure the efficiency of our programs, I develop and implement a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework, along with a three-year strategic plan and corresponding budgets. This initiative strengthens our ability to track, evaluate, and report on the impact of our projects. The improved reporting and alignment with organisational goals enable better decision-making and more impactful conservation outcomes.Beyond strategic and operational management, I provide technical expertise in Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Blended Finance Solutions (BFS). I play a key role in developing sustainable financing models, such as carbon markets, debt-for-nature swaps, green bonds, and blended finance vehicles. These efforts diversify our revenue streams, ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability of WWF's conservation projects.A key aspect of my role involves capacity building and training WWF staff to enhance fundraising capabilities. I lead training programs and provide mentorship, aligning staff efforts with strategic objectives, empowering the team, and driving organisational success.

Vientiane, Laos

I was tasked with securing vital funding to support our conservation efforts across a diverse and challenging landscapes. I developed and executed a comprehensive resource mobilisation strategy to secure funds from individuals, philanthropic, corporate partners, and public sector donors. This involved building and managing a robust fundraising pipeline, overseeing donor relationships, and leading teams across nine countries in close collaboration, and managing the fundraising teams in each countries.To ensure the sustainability and impact of our efforts, I co-developed the Conservation strategy and established a Quality Assurance (QA) process to mitigate risks associated with our projects. My role extended to advocacy on national, regional, and global platforms, where I effectively represented WWF’s priorities and worked to strengthen our presence and influence. I also managed budgets and played a significant role in joint resource mobilisation initiatives with key organisations, including IUCN, WRI, the Asian Development Bank, World Vision, CARE, and Traffic.As a result of these strategic actions, I raised over US$35 million for WWF Asia-Pacific, contributing significantly to advancing our conservation objectives. This achievement not only ensured the continuation of critical projects but also expanded our funding platforms, setting the stage for sustained financial support in the future.

Vientiane, Laos

I lead the redevelopment and implementation of the Private Sector Partnership (PSP) strategy, a crucial document that aligns our regional efforts with WWF’s broader conservation goals. My responsibilities involve engaging with key stakeholders to identify and capitalise on fundraising opportunities that match the priorities of PSP donors.I coordinate the identification of funding and partnership opportunities, ensuring that all proposals are tailored to meet the specific requirements of PSP donors while remaining consistent with WWF-Greater Mekong’s strategic objectives. A significant part of my role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with PSP partners and donors, adhering to WWF Network standards, and fostering a culture of compliance and mutual benefit. This relationship management is vital in maintaining donor trust and securing ongoing support.Additionally, I develop and implement strategic partnership-building and fundraising approaches, crafting bespoke strategies for private sector engagement, creating targeted fundraising campaigns, and identifying new avenues for collaboration. I provide guidance and training on PSP-related matters to my team, managers, and staff, enhancing their understanding of private sector engagement and fundraising. I also manage budgets related to PSP activities, ensuring the efficient allocation of financial resources aligned with strategic priorities, while supporting the monitoring and evaluation of conservation action plans and funded projects.Advocacy is another key component of my role, as I represent WWF-Greater Mekong on regional and global platforms, promoting our PSP strategy, sharing successes, and advocating for increased private sector involvement in conservation efforts. Through these comprehensive efforts, I raise over $30 million, significantly advancing WWF-Greater Mekong’s conservation initiatives and reinforcing the impact of our private sector partnerships.

I served as an expert in sustainable development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), where I provided strategic guidance to private companies in the creation and execution of their CSR projects and programs. My approach was grounded in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the Grenelle 2 framework, ensuring that these initiatives not only met regulatory requirements but also adhered to best practices in sustainability reporting and implementation.I led multi-department teams, utilising effective communication strategies to manage complex projects and align diverse stakeholders. Additionally, I oversaw the development and management of the office’s budget, ensuring that financial resources were allocated strategically to support our objectives. My role also included representing Australl at national forums and parliamentary sessions, where I advocated for sustainable practices and engaged with policymakers to influence CSR advancements at a national level.The results of these efforts were significant: the companies I advised successfully implemented CSR initiatives that exceeded industry benchmarks. In my role as a Public Sector Partnership Consultant at WWF-Thailand, I was tasked with developing and managing partnerships with both public and private sector entities to drive forward our conservation initiatives. A key aspect of my role involved creating compelling project proposals to secure funding from international sources such as USAID, IKI, UN, EU, and MAVA. Leveraging my in-depth understanding of Thailand’s physical environment, political landscape, culture, and economy, I tailored proposals that were highly effective, resulting in successful funding applications that exceeded expectations.In addition to securing public sector funding, I cultivated strategic relationships with large international companies to develop private sector programs with co-benefits that aligned with WWF’s conservation goals. Utilising strong negotiation skills, I facilitated the creation of high-impact, long-term partnerships that contributed to an increase in project funding. I also ensured that all new projects incorporated comprehensive monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure they met the objectives and requirements of each partnership.Furthermore, I played a key role in advocating WWF’s initiatives on national platforms, which significantly enhanced the visibility and impact of our work. I also implemented a communications strategy that effectively conveyed WWF’s objectives and achievements. As a result of these strategic efforts, I secured over $15 million in funding, established long-term partnerships, and significantly expanded WWF’s impact in Thailand.

In my role as Private Sector Engagement Coordinator at WWF Singapore, I was tasked with strategically securing and managing funding from private sector entities to support WWF’s conservation initiatives. My responsibilities included identifying potential corporate partners, crafting tailored proposals, and negotiating funding agreements that aligned with WWF’s conservation goals and the strategic interests of private sector organisations. Through these efforts, I successfully secured in-kind support from high-profile companies such as The Body Shop, Cold Storage, and Singapore Post, as well as funding. This significantly expanded WWF Singapore’s funding base and enhanced our community outreach and conservation impact.A major achievement in this role was the development of the innovative Panda Perks app, WWF-Singapore’s first digital platform designed to reward green actions and purchases. I collaborated closely with app developers and designers, secured suitable partners for its launch, and implemented a comprehensive communication plan.
