Marie Boyle is a Coordinator for the Learning Center at Cascadia Community College. She possess expertise in event planning, customer service, time management, research, administrative assistants and 40 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Marie is extremely dependable, and combined with her strong work ethic and her incredible organizational skills, she has been a vital asset to me and to our department. But, the thing that makes her a cut above is that she is always willing to find an answer if she doesn’t know something. She will track down the right person to teach her a new method or technique, or find out the proper procedure when needed. She is never afraid to ask, and is motivated to stay on top of her job. One of the things I appreciate about Marie is the way she handles phone calls from concerned / upset / angry students and parents with such diplomacy. She listens well, answers when she can, and either re-directs the call to someone who can resolve the problem quickly, or brings it to my attention for further action. I think Marie exhibits great judgment. She knows the school and its policies well enough to know how to handle most situations. She is not afraid to make decisions, and I feel confident in her ability to do so. Full Sail is a constantly changing and evolving workplace. Marie adapted very well to this. She not only adopted the new method when applicable, but she was very willing to look for new methods when needed. She supported me so that I could concentrate on the big picture, and so that I could spend more time planning and being proactive, than putting out fires and reacting to problems.
