Volunteer role (approximately 2 days per week) where I offered Strategic Planning, Marketing, Social Media and Recruitment expertise to further the goals of the charity who engage with families in Coventry and Warks that have a child with cancer. I recruited, inducted and trained a new team of volunteers when we moved to larger premises and managed a team on Marketing Mondays to heighten our profile. I put together the website content, marketing content and information packs for Charity Partners, Volunteers and Fundraisers.

Self employed Management and Leadership Trainer, I offered tailored in-house Management and Leadership Training in the Midlands to companies and organisations for their managers and staff. Covering a wide range of topics, from Leadership skills, Appraisals, Meetings and Project Management to Recruitment and Selection etc, for anyone who leads a team. Also offered general skills training suitable for all staff such as Giving quality customer care, communications, managing stress, time and assertiveness skills etc.

In addition to offering Marketing Services, I offered 1:1 coaching, helping start-ups and small businesses to achieve growth. This brought together my background in management training and my knowledge of marketing to help businesses to meet their goals through a series of coaching and training workshops.As part of the ERDF Funded pilot 'Regional Growth Network' I was an approved coach and helped over 50 businesses in an 18 month period to access the fully funded support and 1:1 sessions to help them to establish and grow their business. My client base was very varied and included clients from retail to professional services, to shot blasting and hospitality and everything in between!

I created and ran a wholly owned subsidiary of C & M Machine Tools in the French Alps and ran this company successfully increasing the customer base and building relationships with French Turned Parts Manufacturers. From scratch, I built up a solid business and an impressive turnover, whilst learning to ski at the weekends too! I had an office, a stores and an industrial unit with Wickman Machines in stock which I bought, had refurbished and sold on.
