As a fully qualified sociologist, I have gained experience and expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and production of text and reports.In my master's project, I was able to do a deep dive into the Norwegian correctional system with a focus on low-security confinement at Leira prison in Trondheim. The assignment dealt with inmates' spatial experience of serving time in a prison without physical limitations and how we can understand the concept of total institution also about institutions with permeability. Interesting topic and deep-dive study, and something that has given me the opportunity to deal with one of the welfare state's major social institutions.I have had a one-year temporary position as a subject teacher in social studies and sociology and social anthropology at a secondary school. A job I have greatly appreciated, through this year I have been able to gain experience as a teacher and increase my competence in class management, planning and student-teacher relations and communication.
