Lightup Norway

Lightup Norway is an international and democratic youth organization working to prevent human trafficking and sexual exploitation. We were founded in Norway in 2013, and we have sister organizations in both Germany and Austria. Lightup is politically and religiously independent, and works to engage young people in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation. Lightup is the only youth organization in Norway with the prevention of human trafficking as its main focus. Together with young people, Lightup works to create positive change in attitudes and reduce the demand for human trafficking. Lightup offers several ways to get involved, such as: - Lectures and workshops for youth, teachers, students, and businesses. - Awareness through social media. - Political work to prioritize the prevention of human trafficking. - Development of educational resources. - The Lightup Magazine and the podcast "Ungt søkelys". - Creative projects to raise awareness. Our target group is young people between 13 and 35 years old. And our vision is "a world without human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children and adults".
