I am a reliable, thorough and committed Master of Information Management graduate, with a comprehensive understating of the creation, evaluation, collection, organisation, utilisation and dissemination of information in the modern information environment.➜ Over the last year I have gained multifaceted practical experience as a Volunteer Library / IT Assistant with the Genealogical Society of Victoria. After completing my industry placement I returned to assist in the redevelopment of the Society website.➜ My experience with the Society has been invaluable, I’ve gained skills in website creation, including the content management system Joomla; website design, content and functionality. I’ve built strong stakeholder relationships and in 2015 I received a Genealogical Society of Victoria ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ for recognition of services to the Society as a volunteer.➜ I’ve enjoyed combining my knowledge of Information Management with technology in order to create, share and use information.➜ I have held leadership and customer service positions at Big W and Spotless / Epicure.
