SEEAC is a not-for-profit organisation by and for migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum from Southeast and East Asia, providing direct support services to community members and delivering advocacy and campaigning work for the rights and welfare of migrants, refugees and members of racialised/minoritised communities. Responsible for strategising and development of SEEAC's work including overall management of organisational operations, programmes and the staff/volunteer team, and leading fundraising, advocacy, research and campaigning work. Contributed to a significant expansion of the organisation and it's operation during the early stage of organisational development. Leading SEEAC's growth from a voluntary community group into an organisation with dedicated staff team, who runs various programmes, supported by Board Directors with expertise in and lived experiences of issues we work on.

Co-directorship at a for and by community organisation working with Southeast and East Asian communities in the UK. Led multiple projects to address impact of Covid-19 outbreak on vulnerable and under-represented members of Southeast and East Asian migrant communities, including refugees, people seeking asylum, victims of trafficking and undocumented people.

BEBESEA is a network of organisations and individuals advocating for rights of migrants in and from East and Southeast Asia as well as cross-cutting/intersectional human rights issues in the regions. Its secretariate is hosted by Human Rights Working Group, Indonesia.

Implemented a project ‘Responding to COVID-19: Building Resilience,’ aimed to learn about the impacts of the pandemic and in marginalised communities, and to organise, empower and build networks of resilience with some of the marginalised migrant communities – those who are without status, including those with no recourse to public funds and those who are in the asylum process or who have been refused asylum.

Program Officer of a private international philanthropy. In charge of programmes and projects in Southeast Asia and Mongolia with a particular focus on policy advocacy, capacity building and research on issues of migration, human rights, freedom of expression, media/ journalism, and education. Based at the headquarter office involving frequent travels around the region.
