Directed the education programs associated with the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival as well as the year-round education program serving more than 50,000 students, teachers and administrators in Utah public and charter schools each year. Coordinated between schools, professional storytelling artists, and funders to present storytelling performances and workshops for approximately 100 schools each year both onsite at the Festival and at schools throughout Utah. Planned, wrote, implemented and reported on the Institute's grants, and participated in other development activities to fund the work of the nonprofit. Ensured compliance with non-profit regulations. Built and maintained effective relationships with partners, artists, and volunteers.

Responsible for children's and teen's programming, including planning and implementing an eight-week summer reading program. Significant innovations to teen and children's programming include a revamp of summer reading, prioritizing hands-on interactive experiences, designing a prize drawing challenge for teens, implementing a summer reading program for babies, designing an annual summer carnival with activities in the arts or sciences, and a monthly after-hours teen program. Assisted in managing facilities for Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Assisted in raising revenue for library projects through grants, fundraising, book sales and other campaigns. Participated in planning for Library's short-and long-term goals. Performed associate librarian duties in Programming and Outreach, Children's Reference and General Reference areas of the Library

Taught literacy skills to sophomore and senior high school students, including reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, writing process, peer-review, revision, editing, vocabulary, and research skills. Managed up to 40 students in each of six classes per semester. Planned and presented daily lesson plans, designed assignments to be completed both in class and as homework, created and implemented assessment tools, and provided feedback on student work. Served as an assistant coach for the softball team.
