As a Senior Programmer/Analyst at a distribution company, was responsible for the development of new programs for an Order Entry system. Implemented subfile screens that enable users to add, revise, and delete records from various Order Entry files. Created and executed unit test plans. All programming was completed in RPG IV on the AS/400. For a large medical supplies manufacturing company, worked with a team to upgrade the AS/400 KBM software package to version 2.0. This involved RPG III and CL programming of all custom modifications. Also was responsible for testing and documentation. After the upgrade, performed analysis and completed additional requested enhancements to the KBM system.

As a Senior Programmer/Analyst, was involved in a large integration project at an office supplies company. Wrote and tested programs to merge data from a newly acquired company into the existing AS/400 system. Extensive system analysis was required to complete this project. The languages used were RPG IV, RPG III, CL, and SQL. Also utilized DBU and Query/400. Designed and implemented a Microsoft Access database for a major bank. This database tracked information for the company’s Year 2000 compliance initiative. It consisted of several tables and data entry forms to maintain products, vendors, business sponsors, and other various elements.

Created time management and capital budget reports in Microsoft Access.Developed a multi-user tracking system with FoxPro. Created screens involving extensive field validation and push buttons. Wrote reports using advanced SQL and FoxPro’s Report Writer.Designed, implemented, and tested an Office Transfers reporting system in PC/FOCUS. Used XCOM to download monthly files from the IBM 3090 mainframe.
