Audit and Advisory: Developed audit plans, risk assessment and audit strategies in the conduct of independent audits and advisory engagements. Audited a wide range of ADB processes and systems - business process reviews, IT audits, and data analytics projects. Data Analytics (example of DA projects completed):(i) Procurement data. Analyzed 100% of the procurement transactions extracted from the Bank’s new cloud-based procurement system. Ran test scenarios based on key procurement risks to identify transaction outliers and exceptions. The ACL-based analytics was able to spot key control gaps, critical configuration and data interface issues. (ii) Private sector portfolio data. Evaluated the accuracy and reliability of the portfolio management reporting system being developed at the time, focusing on guarantees and private equity funds. Employed extensive analytics to simulate data transformation that generated private sector dashboards. The ACL-based analytics revealed data inconsistencies and data integrity issues in the prototype private-sector reports. Innovation: Led a working group that managed and advised on audit systems and tools for the audit department and served as project lead for major audit system upgrades. Led a working group that standardized the use of COSO internal control framework in audit project’s preliminary risk assessment process. Led the delivery of complex audit projects resulting in value-adding action plans for senior management. Designed and executed innovative audit procedures, including extensive data analytics.Supervision: Supervised the work of working group committee members and reporting staff, providing clear direction and regular performance feedback.Note: On special leave from July 2021 to June 2024 for study purposes and widen professional experiences within and outside multi-lateral financial institutions.
