Practitioner - Shihan/Teacher
CurrentI am a teacher facilitator of Jikiden Reiki. I have a private practice, I do distance work, phone consultations, mentor the Reiki community and also treat Horses and other animalsI am a teacher who is inside her work. My strength is the ability to inspire others to become silent witnesses to others healing.Philosophy of Reiki Treatments: Reiki is a resource for re-establishing balance in our lives. When we are off course, receiving a treatment can call us back into ourselves, our truest essence.Being present to witness this re-alignment occurring in sessions, even quite difficult situations gives me the greatest joy. Teaching people to develop their own Reiki practices rewards all of us. Each aspect is a step toward releasing distractions and focusing on our own desires to live as consciously and healthfully as possible.Reiki transforms us if we allow it into our lives.• We can live in a place where worry is not the center point of our existences. • Where anger is not our touchstone. • We can learn to practice compassionate disengagement. In other words: “I don’t tell the murky world to turn pure. I purify myself and check my reflection in the water of the valley brook.” Ryoken. If we could determine how long it took our bodies and minds to generate a physical or mental condition, then we would understand we must discern the choices we must make to shift those patterns, habits and beliefs. Complex issues require a commitment to a number sessions. Jikiden Reiki has a history of success with chronic health issues. Receiving daily treatments, longer than an hour can make a huge difference. For those with challenging health issues, it is often desirable to have a member of the family learn Reiki- so Reiki treatments are more available.
