Marin Klinger is a Associate Scientist III, National Snow and Ice Data Center, CU Boulder at National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC). Colleagues describe them as "I really enjoyed working with Marin! She follows projects through to completion and ensures that no task is missed. She is always looking for ways to create win-win solutions, and I've witnessed her gracefully navigate complex political situations. In addition to working with her in data management, I was part of a team that she helped organize for field work. This project required a great attention to detail and coordination between multiple teams, and could have easily gotten off track after the initial work was done. The collected data were able to be processed and published in large part due to Marin's organizational and communication skills. " and "I have worked closely with Marin for several years now at NSIDC. When her previous supervisor left, I took over that role for several months until Marin switched to the User Support group. During the entire time that I've worked with Marin, and especially while supervising her, I found her to be thoughtful, engaged, and highly competent at all of her tasks. As a scientific applications programmer, Marin went out of her way to develop new skills and expertise. Her work required her to sometimes develop new data processing techniques or learn new languages, and she was able to rapidly come up to speed. Marin also cares deeply about the organization and has made it a point to connect with everyone she works with. It's been a pleasure to work with Marin, and I strongly endorse her for any new role."
