Assistant News Director
As NBC4’s senior editorial leader, I guide an incredibly talented team with accountability for daily news coverage, major events, and breaking news across all platforms. I also oversee all of our live, large-scale station campaigns, including the Olympics, elections, and our recent LA mayoral debate.Among the work I'm particularly proud of is our unprecedented live coverage from SoFi in the days leading up to Super Bowl LVI, our coverage of the Tokyo and Beijing Olympics (both of which took place during COVID), and live breaking news coverage of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and several friends.

As managing editor, I led day-to-day operations of news production, with accountability for setting the team's daily news agenda and editorial meeting leadership. I worked collaboratively with reporters, producers (video & digital), and editors to ensure programming aligned strategically across TV, social media, and NBCLA.com.While in this role, I oversaw coverage for many historic events, including the massive Thomas Wildfire and the shooting death and memorial of rapper Nipsey Hussle.

As executive producer for the 11pm news, I managed a team that consistently produced exclusive, multi-platform content. Our work resulted in year-over-year improvements in newscast ratings across the four years I was in this role (including 18 consecutive months in a #1 ratings position).I also organized and executed live morning newscasts throughout the 2016 Rio Olympics and produced the docuseries, "Unthinkable: The Menendez Murders" that went on to be distributed across the entire NBC-owned station group.

I also managed several major special projects and live events, including the station's multi-media coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics (Vancouver) and 2012 Summer Olympics (London).
