The Lambda functions in turn accessed data in MongoDB database or called internal REST endpoints.• Led project that integrated with third party API, storing information in the cloud within MongoDB, with REST endpoints exposed through Flask/Python as well as Angular frontend. Responsibilities included being primary interface to customer, researching the API, designing the architecture, and writing Jiras from business and technical requirements, while being fulltime developer on the project.• Wrote and maintained C# and VB.NET applications that retrieved odometer, fault code and GPS location data from in-cab truck devices via telematics and wrote this data to the database directly or through web services. Reduced defect level by an estimated 80% in first nine months.• Wrote detailed design and user-level documentation, including UML sequence and state diagrams.

This resulted in a minimum estimated savings of 10 hours per week, as well as greater consistency and fewer instances of reprocessing compared to the original Mail Merge and spreadsheet solution.• Tuned and improved performance of SQL stored procedures as required, speeding up several by over 500 percent.• Wrote mechanism using SQL and ADO.NET for “disconnected mode”, in which an application could download information for reviews from the server while connected to the internet, disconnect and accept data entry, then reconnect and upload data. The mechanism for doing this was designed to be generic and configurable.• Designed and wrote internal training application in ASP.NET. App implemented as a shell with training topics configured in the database and consisted of one or more tests randomly generated from a set of questions. Displayed test results including correct and incorrect answers for each test.
