Teaching k-6 English language learners all grade-level content. Most of the students are emergent bilinguals who speak primarily Spanish at home. Students are also recent arrivals to the U.S and face challenges beyond second language acquisition. Assisting with all state assessments including ACCESS, NJSLA, and STARS testing. Implementing NJCCS and district curricular standards into all lesson while differentiating instruction for all ELs. Conducting outreach to parents to improve communication and outcomes for student success.

MOTH facilitator and teacher. Lead students into; Costa Rica OSA Peninsula for conservation work in rain forest, Cherry Springs State Park PA for stargazing, and Missouri to witness 2017 Great American Eclipse.

Teaching math to rising 4th and 5th graders enrolled at Bloomfield Public Schools. Created and implemented assessments to evaluate prior knowledge and customize adequate grade-level objectives. Placed classroom management strategies to increase student involvement, performance, and success. Provided students with inquiry based integrated STEM lesson plans that used standards and critical thinking to tackle fundamental problem solving challenges. Differentiated instructions to meet student performance while scaffolding content. Provided opportunities for all students to demonstrate content comprehension using multiple intelligence.
