I help customers to clearly quantify their requirements, design the optimal solution, and manage project stakeholders to deliver within budget and on time. I drive continual improvement by optimising, digitising and automating wherever possible, increasing productivity and consistency. I am a passionate team leader with a strong track record of high quality staff retention. Some examples of my experience include:• Designing and building an automated mobile pyranometer calibration laboratory, as well as automating reports and certificate generation.• Managing a World Bank project in the pacific islands to get free high quality solar data in the public domain to enable these island nations to establish renewable energy power grids.• Designing technical solutions on numerous utility scale solar and wind energy power plants in South Africa to date, as well as some abroad.I get excited about opportunities where I can take responsibility, apply my strategic and analytical skillset to solve problems, and where I get exposure to the forefront of a technological sector.
