Responsible for overseeing Trust Fund operations and enacting all directives emanating from the respective Boards.

As Fund Manager I have the day-to-day responsibility of overseeing all client Funds. Responsible for implementing policy directives emanating from the Board of Trustees, and guiding all administrative activities. Working directly with Insurance, Employer and Union representatives along with Plan Professionals and Advisors.

Responsible for managing client and consultant relationships on a large book of business comprised of fully insured Labor funds with Commercial and Medicare populations. Current clients with over 1,000 members include the Southwest Council of Carpenters, Labor Alliance Managed Trust, The Contractors Plan Trust, Produce Association of Los Angeles and Teamsters Managed Health Care Trust.Responsible for strategic planning, internal RFP process, proposal, negotiations, and successful implementation of new and renewing accounts.Maintain close liaison with all UnitedHealthcare departments (Product Development, Underwriting, Legal & Regulatory, MAS, Proposal, Rx Solutions/Medco, Dental & Vision, Behavioral Health and Marketing Communications)Attend training sessions on product and industry knowledge and communicate any relevant information to clients and consultants.

Responsible for managing a complex book of business within PacifiCare's Labor & Trust Division. Retention and growth of existing accounts was primary focus.Responsible for strategic planning, internal RFP process, proposal, negotiations, and successful implementation of new and renewing accounts.Maintain and develop client relationships related to assigned book of business.

Provided support to a team of Account Managers and Executives by servicing the Labor clients and their employees within the departments book of business.
