Transitioning into the role of Quality Coordinator in the Foundry sector, I collaborated with a team of over 700personnel, including supervisors, technicians, auditors, inspectors, and operators, to implement continuousimprovements, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.I acted as the main point of contact for quality complaints, working closely with the team to solve productproblems or non-conformances utilizing PDCA and 8D principle, in addition to maintaining oversight of severaloperational indicators and parameters including IFATs (factory tests), OTIFs (On-time, In-full), and Absenteeismtrends to meet the highest quality standards, and serve the needs of our customers.I also supervised all phases of the production process, including the operation of over 200 CNC machines,performing routine inspections to ensure continuous compliance with all product specifications, analyzingnonconforming materials and complaints to identify improvement opportunities, developing and evaluatingmeasurement systems, and monitoring deadlines to measure the progress of corrective/preventive actions.I had the unique opportunity to work with various global teams, and multinational manufacturers including Ford,GM, Audi, Cummins, Honda, Toyota, Perkins, MWM, VW, Scania, Peugeot, and MTU.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS● I played a key role in the implementation of the CAP System (Computer-Assisted Production system),integrating process sheets, control plans, Process FMEAs, and operational training within a singlestreamlined system.● I successfully developed Product Audits, Dock Audits and developed a Returns Protocol, leading to a 25%reduction in complaints regarding visible defects from the end customer.● I also introduced the concept of operational video training for employees for operational practice in thetheory and application of the practical evaluation checklist.
