Guarantee the H&S management system implementation and ensure risk mitigation and legal compliance with each country's regulations.• Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Health & Safety, Security policies and practices across Meteoric for H&S culture change. • Ensure that all employees are aware of and that Meteoric's activities are fully compliant with Health and Safety and ensure that all subcontractors employed by Meteoric are competent and comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and codes.• Set the strategic direction for effective health and safety management and appropriate workplace wellness programs for Meteoric employees. • Liaise with HR on health and wellbeing issues, especially where a risk assessment has identified a need, including supporting HR and line managers in carrying out individual risk assessments where necessary.• Work proactively with managers and other key employees to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in the management of health, safety and well-being in their areas of responsibility. • Lead the company's journey towards Health and Safety certifications by identifying, providing and/or procuring an effective health and safety related training regime to help achieve this. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all health and safety laws and requirements imposed on the company by external agencies (local, state, or federal). • Develop an H&S Culture that ensures that all members of the organization prioritize H&S initiatives and understand their role in ensuring the safety and health of all employees and that our processes have no adverse effects on our environment. • Develop and implement accident prevention programs and training plans to meet site/project safety needs and requirements.

Perform management reviews and report on EHS performance and tactical and strategic improvement planning.• Partner and collaborate with the business and operations management, and support functions, to influence and manage EHS resources and projects and business decisions.• Design, develop, implement, execute, and sustain site-level and regional employee safety and injury prevention programs.• Manage regulatory agency and external stakeholder EHS activities, including reporting, visits, or inspections.• Track and stay current on EHS compliance changes, emerging issues, and best practice trends in the industry and interpret and incorporate changes/updates to EHS programs.• Contribute and participate in company EHS strategies, tactical planning and EHS initiatives.
