As a naturally curious person, I love the challenge behind finding solutions to complex business problems. I am motivated to learn new skills and overcome obstacles to deliver results. I’ve started my career in vendors relations, partnering with over 100 global brands across various product categories on strategic business initiatives to drive sales of their product through W.B. Mason. Each year the negotiations I’ve conducted with vendor accounts have yielded $13+ million in marketing funding for the company. Company goals and demands of my role evolved tremendously because of the global pandemic, and I used my creativity and flexibility to adapt to the new business needs. I have been described by colleagues as “a bit of a unicorn” – a person willing to run through walls to find the solution. I’m not looking for anyone to tell me the answer because I am eager to solve the equation myself. I’m not afraid to ask questions or challenge the current approach. I am constantly seeking to find a more efficient way to get from point A to point B. Driving process improvements is one of my areas of expertise.Above all, I like working with people. Meeting new people, collaborating, and innovating together animates me. Developing new talent and empowering my colleagues to play to their strengths is one of the most challenging but rewarding aspects of my career thus far.
