Marion is a growth, marketing and operations lead with over 20 years of experience in the education, automotive and hospitality industries. Since 2023 Marion has been leading the Enterprise Marketing portfolio which includes the brands Swinburne Edge, Swinburne Innovation Studio, Swinburne Design Factory Melbourne and Industry Engagement.Prior to this promotion Marion spent more than 10 years at Swinburne University heading up the growth and operations of Swinburne Edge – from start-up to its established position today – and played a key role to establish the business as a leader in its segment. Marion’s expertise encompasses strategic planning, team leadership, product development, marketing, sales management, tender production and delivery, analytics and stakeholder management. In addition, Marion led the implementation and operation of the Swinburne Professional IT systems, including the CRM, course management and delivery platforms, payment gateways and more. Marion is a strong strategic planner who enjoys analytics, reporting and reviewing, and thrives on leading a culture of ongoing accountability to ensure goals are reached. Marion is also very process and structure-driven, with a high emphasis on compliance, and has the ability to pivot quickly and efficiently.
