I lead the FFF (Fauna Flora Funga) initiative and work to incorporate fungi-inclusive language into legislation, policies, and organizations worldwide. This initiative aims to write this neglected kingdom of life into conservation and agricultural policy frameworks, protect it under international and domestic law, and unlock crucial funding for mycological research, surveys and educational programs.Additionally, I oversee the tech-related aspects of the organization. This includes setting up automations, managing the website, and occasionally coding tools to scale our mission and reach a global audience.I am also actively involved in all the other programs at the Fungi Foundation, namely our "Elders" program. In this program, I help develop an interactive map to shed light on the ancestral uses of fungi by indigenous communities around the world. This map helps us better understand and protect both the communities, and the fungi. With over 100,000 followers across platforms and more than a decade in existence, the Fungi Foundation works alongside major organizations such as IUCN and National Geographic, and has been featured in Time Magazine, BBC, The Guardian, and The New York Times amongst many others.Currently leading many projects ranging from India to Costa Rica

I started off as an applications engineers in Nexa's parent company XponentialWorks, where I I operated a variety of additive manufacturing machinery, performed R&D projects for early-stage tech companies, and designed parts using standard CAD, generative design, and organic modeling software for a variety of clients and startup companies (including Apollo Robotics, NXT Factory, Nexa3D, and the XPRIZE Foundation). At Nexa3D, I was the Product Owner for anything software-related in the startup company Nexa3D. Working on an agile team, I set priorities for each sprint, coordinated between multiple departments, and communicated with customers to know which features to include. Projects including our 3D printer's firmware/UI, a cure station's process flow diagram and software settings, and the 3D printing slicer and fleet management software that we use to generate printer-ready files, NexaX 2.0.Additionally, I was the applications engineer for NEXA3D (ultrafast resin DLP-like printer). This includes designing sample and customer parts, writing case studies, operating several NXE400 machines in our AppLab, creating user guides, working closely with all the teams to troubleshoot user issues, and helping with installations and training for new customers and resellers (traveling on-location + virtually)

I ran the facility's SLA/Resin 3D printer and design and print models for professors, grad students, and local companies. I help professionals not aware of 3D printing limitations redesign their models to make them manufacturable for 3D printing. I used several CAD software (organic + geometric) in combination to create unique 3D models that merge engineering, biology, and technology. I also constructed 3D models out of 2D image stacks of biosamples, and fixed meshes to be ready for additive manufacturing technologies. I used softwares like Imaris for medical segmentations and getting scans ready for 3D printing.

I ran the hydroponics garden system of UMBC's dining hall from seed to table; growing lettuce, kale, basil, chives, and Swiss chard. I also promoted sustainability initiatives like finding alternatives to straw and single-use containers, creating sustainability materials, manning booths for sustainability and food waste initiatives. I also used the spent coffee grounds from the dining hall to for a an Oyster mushroom growing operation.

Gained experience with microfabrication processes (micro hole drilling, laser marking). Worked in the R&D team to make better 3D printed microfluidic devices. Made a sheet-metal bending process more efficient by designing and printing a small scale rig to bend over. Cast flexible microfluidic PDMS parts out of 3D printed molds. Used industrial FDM printers and properly post-processed parts.

TA for ENME204, introduction to Engineering Design with CAD; Taught students how to use Solidworks and design for manufacturing & 3D printing.

Worked with a team at a 3D print farm managing SLA parts with a diverse range of engineering material. Developed a modular system to properly UV cure and dispose of excess uncured SLA resin from resin tanks.

Teaching assistant for IS 498: 3D Printing for Entrepreneurship. In the class, students learn about digital fabrication and entrepreneurship. The course focuses on 3D printing, an innovative technology that supports creativity, rapid prototyping, and personal-scale manufacturing. Students also learn introductory 3D modeling, 3D printing, and financial concepts including service models, retail sales, and e-commerce considerations.

Set up and organize meeting rooms, open and close the building, sync and setup AV equipment, transport furniture, manage automatic-door breaker systems

Honni: P2P Local Produce Finder, connects consumers and buyers with farmers, growers, and sellers. The health-conscious consumer selects any produce they are looking for, and the app immediately locates farmers and backyard growers within a certain radius which sell exactly what the buyer wants. Modeled off of Uber and Airbnb, Honni is a peer-to-peer service, meaning even a small time community-gardener can sell their produce through the app once they get verified.

I translated hand-sketches and drafts of fixtures and products into 3D models and assemblies, using various CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks). Made shop drawings for the in-house manufacturing plant. Programmed with CNC and Komos machines.

I ran the social media accounts of the county department. I also design pamphlets and certificates used in official FF training classes. Additionally, I phone interviewed new volunteer applicants. I also manned the booths at the county fair, and greeted and instructed walk-ins at the HQ office.
