I spent my youth closely studying the rich, fictional lore of various books, movies, and video games. Eventually, I realized I could happily study non-fictional lore too—only that’s just called “history.” I completed an MA in Latin American History on a fellowship grant at Rutgers University in 2020, focusing on El Salvador during the 1980s. During the last few years, I worked at a university registrar’s office, as an editorial assistant for a national historical journal, and as a teaching assistant for begrudgingly enthusiastic undergraduates. I’m so excited to still be working in education at CustomED and more than eager to participate in helping students of all ages get excited about learning – I’m a proud lifelong student of everything myself!
