As an aspiring higher education professional, I am an energetic and motivated individual who is passionate about connecting with others, creating inclusive spaces, helping students reach their version of success, and leaving a positive impact on others. I'm pursuing a M.Ed. degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs at Kent State University and will graduate in May 2025. In addition to my coursework, I'm serving as the Graduate Assistant for Student Leadership Development in the Kent State Leadership Center. This position is allowing me to gain plenty of student programming, supervisory, and facilitation skills. I previously served as a Recruitment & Communications Graduate Assistant at Kent State which allowed me to foster skills such as higher education recruitment, project management, and strategic communication while prompting my passion for admissions and recruiting. I first began my journey at Kent State University as a first-generation student. In May 2023, I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Public Relations. My involvement as a leadership course facilitator, Panhellenic Council executive board leader, and orientation leader prompted my passion for pursuing a career in higher education. I actively pursued opportunities to grow through leadership and professional experiences to develop skills such as effective communication, leadership, public speaking, relationship-building, social media management, and time management. I'm excited to continue learning and working toward my goal of making a positive difference for students and look forward to connecting with you!
