I am an educator who is passionate about equity and inclusion across different identities and lived experiences (I.e. race, ethnicity, gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, and disability) and the intersectionalities between them. Currently, I serve as the Director of Equity and Inclusion at KIPP DC. I am also an Ed.D. student at the University of Illinois in the Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership program with a concentration in Diversity & Equity in Education. I am excited to utilize both my own education and my teaching background to create inclusive, affirming, and anti-racist and anti-oppressive learning experiences and communities for students, families, and staff.
