Supporting local Blue Badge Tourist Guides and promoting Kent Sussex and Surrey for visitors

Maintaining the online gazetteer of all streets in East Sussex. I plot new streets, amend old ones, update the records held and work with the districts and boroughs to ensure that information held is accurate and up to date. The Gazetteer is then updated to a national database which the utilities and other organisations use to request permits to "dig up the road". All part of Keeping East Sussex on the move. I've been Chair of the South East Regional Streets Group for 3 years and contribute to the planning of the digital data infrastructure developments as part of the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement. I am also part of the Governance Group of Street Manager - a Dept for Transport £multi-million initiative which brings all streetworks communities together to plan and manage all roadworks on the streets of England.

Working in licensing and enforcement at East Sussex Highways. I dealt with business, parishes and individuals regarding the placement of objects in the highway. From bollards to dog waste bins and everything in between.
