Responsible for supporting and guiding the Youth Climbing Team programs across Movement gyms. Cast vision at the national level for effective operation of recreational and competitive youth climbing teams. Key Responsibilities and Accomplishments:★Collaborated with Directors, Team Managers (Head Coaches), and other department heads to create systems to optimize youth team performance. Participated in annual strategic planning processes and executing strategic tactics. ★Established KPIs and high-level direction for the Youth Climbing Teams, empowering Team Managers (Head Coaches) to lead their respective teams while operating within department guidelines. Mentored and trained coaches in their job responsibilities and continued education. ★Developed tools for Team Managers (Head Coaches) and Directors to streamline team management and budgeting, including revenue-to-payroll expense analysis. Directly managed national P&L reports and annual department budgeting. ★Led new gym development/launch (4 new builds) and merger & acquisition efforts (1 merger, 2 acquisitions) as related to programming.

Led a group of 7 site managers and oversaw 55+ employees. Fostered a collaborative and exceptional environment by leading coaching staff, overseeing budget, facilitating training planning, and meticulously managing practice, event, competition, and travel schedules. Team Texas continually pushes the limits of competitive climbing with constant innovation, leadership and professionalism, and long-term coach development. Key Responsibilities and Accomplishments: ★Increased size and revenue of the team to an all-time-high without compromising quality and competitive performance. In 2019 achieved the highest % of athletes qualifying at the Divisional level, with each year after outperforming the last. ★Won Bouldering Team Championship (2021) after 10 years since previous win. ★Created a system for talent scouting. Created a new “Pre-Team” program within Team Texas to serve exceptional young athletes ages 6-10 years old with age-appropriate climbing training while fostering a life-long love of the sport. ★Conducted several national-level training camps, notably Team Texas’ first international trips to Innsbruck, Austria/Europe (Spring and Summer 2019). This included travel planning for ~25 youth athletes and 4 coaches. ★2021 1st Place in Combined, Bouldering, and Speed | 2020 Team of the Year Award

The team consisted of 5 assistant coaches and over 60 athletes. Worked in the Pain and Neurobiology Laboratory of the University of Texas at Dallas as a Research Assistant studying the influence of a high-fat diet on pain mechanisms such as hyperalgesic priming in mice. Main duties were performing PCR (polymerase chain reaction), behavior experiments, mice surgery, and data analysis and presentation. Contributed approximately 17 hours per week and participated in weekly lab presentations and learning opportunities.
