In my role as a project manager, I have contributed to various projects over the past few years, ranging from long-term European initiatives to shorter regional and research projects. My focus has primarily been on education and upskilling in the energy transition and on developing and implementing training programs to prepare professionals and students for the challenges of the energy transition.Through these activities, I have contributed to the enhancement of knowledge and skills essential for the future of the energy industry and have built strong partnerships with various stakeholders within and outside the sector.

Through this experience, I have developed a profound understanding of the nuanced support required for diverse individuals and honed my skills in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

During my internship for the Learning in Interaction Master's program, I conducted a baseline measurement of self-regulation among part-time students at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Self-regulated learning is a crucial concept within lifelong learning, an integral research theme at Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the University of Groningen, and a high degree of it has a positive impact on academic performance. In collaboration with a team, I conducted a mixed methods study, collecting and analyzing data.The results revealed that part-time students scored on average on the instrument used to measure self-regulation, and these scores did not change significantly during their studies. From the perspective of teachers, it was often mentioned that self-regulatory skills could be more encouraged. This experience not only provided me with insights into the self-regulation of part-time students but also into the possibilities of further developing these skills from a teaching perspective.

This committee, composed of both university staff and student members, plays an important role in overseeing and enhancing the educational programs. Through active participation in policy discussions, evaluations, and decision-making processes, I collaborate in shaping high-quality education and promoting an inclusive learning environment within the field of Pedagogical and Educational Sciences.
