Esteemed 13,000-member organization consisting of 3 research facilities, 21 freestanding outpatient and inpatient facilities, and numerous affiliated groups.Instrumental player on 13-member research team charged with delivering innovative services and targeted published content in support of quality patient care, research excellence, and on-going learning to an active and vibrant library community. Highlights:• Influential force behind hospital’s Magnet distinction awarded in 2016 for nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes. Hand-picked by nursing unit to offer research component for Magnet approval process. Created and published LibGuide, titled Journey to Magnet, which focused on Magnet principles, nursing theory, and helpful videos; incorporated into training workshops, presentations, and quarterly newsletter.• Liaison designee to nursing staff through Clinical Medical Librarian (CML) Program; deliver customized training to heighten awareness of available library tools and resources, including evidenced-based practice resources to impact decision-making process when treating patients.• Implemented “Roving Reference” service; a bi-weekly outreach initiative aimed at providing reference and research consultations at surrounding ambulatory/outpatient clinics on first come, first serve basis.• Online MSK publication, Nursing Resources, ranked in Top 5 Most Popular LibGuides in 2013.• Served as member to numerous councils and committees, gaining perceptive, staying abreast on current and emerging issues, and contributing to continuing evolution of medical and research practice.
