As Marketing Manager, I'm responsible for the organization, planning and execution of all marketing events including seminars, workshops and industry presentations. • Solely responsible for seven to eight well-sourced, content-driven news stories for weekly publication in a community newspaper with a circulation of 8,000.• Manage and post stories to the newspaper’s website and social networking sites multiple times daily to provide readers with the most breaking and up-to-date news as it occurs.• Establish a watchdog role within the community by reporting on local government and agency meetings.• Write weekly briefs and police reports as well as manage photo assignments for weekly cover and inside stories.
