Shared my knowledge in marketing and public relations by designing and teaching a Communications and Digital Photography summer school class in which students learned methods for communicating through photography and the basics of press releases and press conferences

Forged key relationships with the press, CA politicians, and leaders in the labor movement. Amplified hospitality workers' voices by writing press advisories and releases, organizing and facilitating press conferences at LA City Hall and Anaheim City Hall, and preparing workers to speak to reporters and politicians during public comment. Helped pass laws which would protect hospitality workers and raise their wages.Documented events and legal processes through infographics and photography. Collaborated with unions to organize press and speakers for 5,000 person rally in Downtown LA for affordable housing. Sourced all materials and managed setup for 1,000 person convention in which Mayor Karen Bass and CA Attorney General Rob Bonta were keynote speakers.

As an associate on the Amazon Prime Video account, I worked on the Video Partnerships team to execute large-scale television advertising campaigns (Rings of Power, Peripheral).

As a Youth Coordinator at the Red Cross I helped my team managed over 3,000 volunteers in the Los Angeles region. I developed skills in recruitment, community outreach, client services and casework, project management, event planning, brand management, and more. I organized a Refugee Wishlist Drive and recruited 30+ Red Cross clubs to raise over 350 items which were dispersed to Syrian Refugees with the help of FEMA.

In the Applied Mind and Health (AMH)-Child Attachment, Relationships, and Emotion (CARE) Lab at the Claremont Colleges I conducted an independent research study, transcribed videos, labelled samples and ran analyses using R and SPSS.

I augmented education for a class of 20 preschoolers in underserved communities through interactive reading, vocabulary lessons, scientific demonstrations, and art activities both on-site and remotely.

Managed communication with parents about strategies for supporting children with a range of abilities.

I developed and taught reading comprehension and math lessons for students ages four to twelve.

The Mosaico House gives refugee children in Athens education and housing. I taught children ages 8-10 how to speak, write, and read in English, acting as both mentor and friend in a country which was entirely new to myself and my students.

Worked with preschoolers from underserved communities to provide a stable and meaningful relationship in their lives. Taught kids vocabulary words in English and Spanish and facilitated science lessons.
