Became a full-time employee of the Automation & Tools team. Designing and testing new areas for automation utilizing PowerShell, SQL Server Management Studio, and Autosys. Taking ownership of a new email microservice for the team. Advancing skillset in C#, ASP.NET, Postman, HTML, and Bitbucket by ironing out all use cases for the microservice. Assisting with implementing a new incoming vendor product and becoming the team SME.

Completed two rotations with two different teams that helped advance my skillsets for my professional career. During my first rotation with the Discovery, Analytics, Visualization, and Estate team, I was able to focus on project documentation and managing team projects. Becoming the lead scrum master and working with my organization to implement Agile and utilizing Jira software efficiently. Learning new software like Confluence and QlikView. As well as strengthening my previous skillset with software like SQL Server Management Studio and Jira. During my second rotation with the Automation & Tools team, I was given the opportunity to step into a more technical role. Becoming the acting scrum master on the team as well due to my previous experience, leading stand-ups, sprint closeouts, and planning sessions. Learning Git-Bash, web development, and ASP.NET fundamentals. Gaining confidence in previously learned skills like PowerShell and SQL Server Management Studio.

Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Programming and Databases in the Management Information Systems department.

Over the 10-week summer analyst program was placed on a team that built my confidence and taught me wonderful career skills. I was able to learn Jira software and Agile methodologies. My manager gave me the opportunity to work with three sister teams to help their Jira and Agile implementation journey. Giving me project management skills and building new connections. I also was able to learn PowerShell and completed an automation opportunity for the team to showcase my newly learned skills.
