Marissa Karp is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where she majored in Kinesiology with an Electrical Engineering track. She was involved in a number of activities that showcase her interests and passions, including her membership on the West Point Ski Patrol, for which she served as an Outdoor Emergency Care instructor for one season, her research on self-healing materials applied to satellites to increase their longevity at Purdue with the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program, and her military and language training with the Bundeswehr in Hagenow, Germany. She is currently serving in the United States Army as an Adjutant General Officer. In addition to her military service, she spends time volunteering in the medical field, and studying programming languages and German. She is currently exploring the fields of Data Analysis and Data Science for post-Army fields of interest.
