Assisted in managing the operational side of corporate incentive and corporate direct groups. I assisted with the following logistics pertaining to groups coming to all Hawaiian Islands, including transportation, exclusive activities, theme parties and managing changes. Prepared spreadsheets and proposals for clients to assist in finalizing a Hotel for their event or meeting (for HelmsBriscoe Agents).

Additional dates working for the compnay: October 2001-October 2002 Built relationships with various Hotels, in order to get search assignments and search out qualified candidates for their organization. Once a qualified candidate was found, I worked as the broker between the client and my candidate, by setting up interviews, negotiating salary packages and closing the deal.

Hyatt Regency Los Angeles, CA ~ Responsible for handling the Corporate Market (West of the Mississippi), European tours from Italy and other major cities. Maintained current accounts while creating new business through solicitation and marketing pieces. Sales/ Meetings Express Manager, Hyatt Regency Islandia, San Diego, CA ~ Started as a Sales Assistant and was then promoted into the Sales Management Trainee Program. While rotating through various departments of the hotel, it was determined that my “fit” was in Catering/Convention Services. As a Sales Assistant I assisted Sales Managers in exceeding production goals each month. I aggressively serviced over 200 corporate clients with the planning, implementation and success of their meetings. Duties included creatively utilizing time management and customer relation’s skills while servicing clients from all aspects of life. * Continually exceeded my quota.* Created and implemented telemarketing pieces for client distribution.
