Deputy Director of Oxfam's Advocacy and Campaigns. Leading multilateral strategy and managing research, policy, communications and lobbying across the Oxfam Advocacy Offices in Brussels, New York, Washington DC and Moscow.

Led Oxfam Ireland's policy, political advocacy and public campaigns in line with strategic objectives.

Managed Oxfam Ireland's public affairs and political advocacy, including media and communications and public events.

Coordinated and delivered policy and advocacy in relation to Concern's international development and humanitarian priorities at national and EU level. Oversaw a three year EC advocacy grant to the Alliance2015 network.

Coordinated the Irish pilot of a Pan European project on the protection of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Developed needs analysis; designed and delivered training to statutory and voluntary asylum and refugee services and LGBT organisations; launched the first report in Ireland on principles for working with LGBTI asylum seekers and commissioned a documentary on the experiences of LGBTI migrants in Ireland "Seeking Sanctuary."

Assisted in the delivery of Ireland’s commitments in the White Paper on Irish Aid and the Irish Aid Humanitarian Relief Policy at UN and multilateral level, by supporting Ireland's relationship with United Nations and other humanitarian agencies based in Geneva. Represented Ireland at bilateral and multilateral dialogues on humanitarian action and protection. Led policy development on specific thematic issues, including gender, protection, disaster risk reduction and Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD).

Designed and delivered advocacy, capacity-building and human rights monitoring and reporting programmes during the transition from the emergency to early recovery in Northern Uganda. Trained Justice and Law and Order institutions on human rights and rule of law obligations; worked with civil society partners to build technical advocacy capacity and capacity on human rights law, and monitored the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from camps to villages, including their access to essential services, rule of law and protection.

Provided strategic support and capacity to several KNCHR programmes as part of the fellowship programme with global National Human Rights Institutions. Held specific responsibility for working with the Police and Prison reform project which involved inspecting places on detention and making recommendations to the Prisons and Police Services of Kenya, and with the Governance and Reform programme through monitoring and reporting on the referendum on Kenya's draft Constitution.
